The 1/3k pets go down to 1/750 after reaching the 3rd threshold and the others go along the same path. Let me know if this list is better.
  8. The request to add this feature was to NOT add it the same way as RS3 does. People wanted this as a small boost for dedicated people (yes 1k arma / bandos etc. is dedicated on a private server, if you like it or not) while still keeping the rarity of them in tact. The thought is to have one big threshold that halfs the droprate at a fairly high kc with mostly 1k so people who go for these 1k + kc‘s who will most likely only miss the pet will have this improved droprate for the remainder of the hunt. Just a reminder that OSRS has NONE of this. Each DK has a 1/5k droprate. We are taking this from RS3 which alot of OSRS players don‘t like for how easy alot of their features make the game, that‘s why I think this alteration in how the system is implemented is even better, so people who want the system GET the system and those who dont like RS3 features of were initially against this dont feel like we start to take full RS3 elements, as we change them up. Don‘t really understand how you can say it makes „no sense to add it otherwise“ when 1k kills literally half the droprate for alot of these bosses. You also said yourself in older threads that there are BARELY people even close to these first thresholds so I don‘t really understand why you are trying to make this a thing for an area of kills maybe no one will ever reach as this is still a private server. We could argue to add 2 thresholds to every boss if that is what people want, but it seems like people like this basic construct of the system. There is nothing stopping us from adding more thresholds later on, I just don‘t think it is necessary since no one is even close to said thresholds anyway and it would be better to watch how the system pans out first and how people like it. Thanks for your thoughts though, we‘ll keep it in mind.

Does the community agree with this? We tried to make it so people grinding for a long time get an advantage, but by no means a 100% safe chance to get the pet or make them not the rarest thing you can obtain from a boss anymore. The last questions is, since Nightmare and Corp really take the most time on this list by a long shot, do you guys want a 2nd threshold for these 2 pets? Let us know and make the server better!
  10. Hey! This thread looks very well thought of, gonna give my opinion on those My opinion will be in green under the points. Tears Of Guthix I see this as a helpful minigame for people who really despise skills like Runecrafting. Tears Of Guthix would be a simple way to gain some XP for the skill you have got the least amount of XP in, this would be available once every 24 hours and the amount you gain is based upon your XP-rate. I really like this, also gives people a reason of logging in daily, next to farm runs etc. If I see some more feedback I will definitley ask the team about this! Changes to Sigmund 1) Sigmund is great NPC, but one thing bothers me. For example I would be buying mahogany planks from Sigmund, I would want to buy more than 1 inventory at a time. As it is now I would have to buy 27 planks, bank them, and repeat the process. Maybe I am just a lazy prick, but when I have to do this twenty times, it gets a little annoying. Why can't we just buy things from Sigmund and when the amount bought exceeds 27 it will be noted? 2) Another weird thing is that we are unable to sell Dragon Boots to Sigmund, the reason for this is because it can be bought in the blood money shop. But Dragon Boots are just as likely a drop from a slayer task. It doesn't make sense to me why we wouldn't be able to sell items that are also on the blood money shop. The 2nd point is more or less a bug anyways. I would never sell them to sigmund, simply because you can sell them for OS tokens for the well to the osrs guide.. But I believe we are changing that already. The first point is a bit more tricky, but I think I'm overthinking it. Since its sold by players its the same as selling them noted to someone so I dont see a reason why this shouldn't be a thing. Newcomer's tutorial I'm in Help chat most of the time and I regularly see newbies asking simple things like where they can buy gear better than starters, where they can find slayer masters, and other things that are helpful to a new player. I think there's an easy solution for this, a newcomer's guide. A new player gets the option to decline or accept the guide, the guide proceeds to show the new player where the basic shops are, what there is to find at ::home and how to get around the server (explaining the teleporter). I think that's all it takes really. Maybe this newcomer's guide can be made a little more attractive by offering the newcomer an XP booster upon completion. And I know there is a beginner guide at home, but I don't think having the player enter a keyword really helps the player, I believe having some sort of short tour around ::home might be an improvement. I might be tripping but isn't this already a thing? If not we also have ::beginner that opens a really good guide from Ayanami with every usefull information for beginners. Skill points store Can we get a coal bag and herb sack in the skilling store? Currently the only way to obtain a coal bag is either by donating 1000 credits or farming 100 gold nuggets at the Motherlode Mines. I don't see the herb sack in the skilling store or on ::store, but I didn't get any answers in Help Chat regarding how to get it. Edit: As IsPanda pointed out, adding XP lamps to the skilling store might be an idea. I like the coal bag where it is, as it is a bit more grindy to get the nuggets rather than spent the skilling points that you get reallllly quick. The herb sack is in the reward shop of any slayer master! I also like it there for the same reason as the coal bag. Carpenter Outfit Currently available outfits in the game are: - Angler outfit (Skilling points) - Farmer outfit (Skilling points) - Lumberjack outfit (Skilling points) - Pyromancer outfit (Wintertodt supply crates) - Prospector kit (Motherlode mine) The only outfit missing is the carpenter outfit, which gives a 2.5% XP boost (The same as any other outfit) when worn and training Construction. Originally this outfit was only available on OSRS through a minigame, but it could be added to the skilling points store in my opinion, just to have all the experience boosting skilling outfits. We could add this but I am unsure if we need the newest cache for that since it got added fairly recently, will ask though. King Black Dragon private instance Full credits to Wajong for this one. As this is an Eco server, nearly everybody does bossing. KBD is a famous boss as it can be given as a slayer task, and it has decent drops like the dragon pickaxe and draconic visage. The downside to this is that KBD will often be taken, and you will have to wait, just for somebody else to take your spot. And since there is only 1 world, we can't hop! That's why I fully agree with Wajong on the statement that there should be a KBD instance. I agree with this one, would still be risky to go there but you can atleast get your task done. This is all I came up with, I would like to hear your opinions on these ideas!
  11. I think what Flux means, if there is legit someone being hacked, what stops him from saying "He account shared the details to me on voice chat" ? Legit hackers would never be caught again as this can be used as an grey area every time and it would be A vs B in terms of arguments.

I was thinking of leaving this completely open, but this would make finding that 1 option we want pretty hard, so I prepared two "options", that you can talk about, those can still be altered, like a "mixed" option between the 2. 1. Option We make a set "calculation" that covers all bosses the same way. For example: Threshold is half the droprate of the pet and then doubles the chances Which would be 2000 nightmare KC to get a 2/4000 or 1/2000 droprate for example. 2. Option We make different thresholds for every boss based on how fast/slow they are, this would prob. not be done in here with the exact numbers, we would ask which bosses would you guys consider as long, which as fast and which as "medium" and then release a list we work on behind the scenes and ask you guys if it's good for you.   20. Hey everyone, lately we received questions about why the bonus droprate you get from your donator status and your XP-Rate does not affect pet drops. After a suggestion in the #suggestion section of our Discord server we discussed this topic in a staff meeting and decided to put this one up for you, the community to discuss. What is "Pet Threshold" ? The pet threshold is a Runescape mechanic added to RS3 with the boss pet update in january 2015. What it does it increase your chance for a pet the more kills of a certain boss you have. ... That is the easy way of explaining it, the more detailed option is as followed: Note: This is an example. None of these numbers are set in stone and will be changed based of feedback. (If the suggestion is accepted by you guys) We take Giant Mole as an example, it's pet threshold is 1000 and the baby mole has a dropchance of 1/3000 If a player killed the Giant Mole 1000 times without receiving the pet their threshold is 1. What that means is from that point on the pet droprate for you is lowered on this boss. In RS3's case they add 1 to the droprate, meaning that from 1000 kc and beyond your chance for a baby mole is 2/3000 or 1/1500. If you reach 2000 kills without the pet it will be 3/3000 or 1/1000 and so on. This threshold is different for every boss on RS3, for example Corp threshold is 500, while the DKS one is 1500, as they are much faster to kill. We thought this would be a nice addition, as pets are still the "rarest" pvm content to be achieved and this system still requires you to kill the boss a good amount of time but rewards those who aren't getting lucky early on with a drop but consistenly try to get the pet. What are your thoughts? Do you want us to add this system to the server? What would the thresholds be for the bosses? That is something we want you to answer!
